§ 00 - LOADINGS
PRIVATE BETA · SHIPS Q3 2026 · 1,284 ON LIST
One page, every morning. Twenty things in AI that actually moved overnight, summarized in a line so you know whether to click. GitHub repos with real momentum. Papers worth the read. Models worth trying. MCP servers before they trend.
| # | CAT | Δ 24H | NAME | ONE-LINE SUMMARY |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | MCP | +2,140 ★ | mcp-agent-kit | Production MCP servers in 5 min. Auth, retries, observability baked in. Picked up by Claude Desktop devs after Anthropic engineer reposted. |
| 02 | PAPER | +842 cites | self-improving-agents | Stanford team shows 41% pass@1 lift on SWE-bench using a small reward model trained on agent rollouts. Code released. |
| 03 | MODEL | 12k DLs | qwen3-coder-32b-gguf | Runs at 18 tok/s on a single M3 Max. Closes most of the gap with Claude 3.5 Sonnet on HumanEval at zero API cost. |
| 04 | REPO | +1,620 ★ | browser-use | Wraps Playwright + a vision model so an agent can click, scroll, fill forms with no DOM scraping rules. Beats Stagehand on visual sites. |
| 05 | TREND | 3 viral | r/LocalLLaMA · 32B-quant shift | Three viral threads showing 32B quantized models matching 70B on real workflows at 1/3 the VRAM. Inference cost narrative is shifting. |
| 06 | REPO | +980 ★ | outlines | Constrained decoding library. New v0.7 ships sub-millisecond regex compilation. Already pulled into vLLM main branch. |

Hourly crawl across GitHub, Hugging Face, arXiv, HN, Reddit, Papers With Code, and 10 more. Every event lands in a typed event store with source, timestamp, raw payload.
A weighted score ranks every item by 24h delta across stars, forks, contributors, release cadence, citations, downloads, and downstream mentions. Stars alone get you 4% of the weight.
The top 20 get one-line summaries. What is it, who is it for, why now. No fluff, no hype, no LinkedIn-isms. Reviewed against an anti-slop prompt I wrote and tuned for months.
How a repo's 24h velocity score gets calculated. The mix is opinionated, transparent, and tuned monthly against real engineering signal.
Papers, models, and MCP servers each have their own factor mix. A model's score weighs downloads, quant variants, and downstream HF spaces. A paper weighs cites per week and GitHub repos that implement it. Same pipeline. Different formulas.
Radar pulls signal from where it actually emerges, not just where it gets repackaged. We add sources as they prove they matter.
Pick a tier when you join the waitlist. Free is enough for most. Pro pays for the AI summaries, the email digest, and the archive that compounds over time.
Today's brief, public, daily.
For engineers who don't have time to scroll.
For teams, founders, and people building on top.
Tell me who you are and what you want Radar to surface. I read every signup and use it to shape the launch list. When the engine is live, your tier opens first.
No spam. One email when Radar launches. Unsubscribe with a click.
> Isn't this just GitHub Trending with extra steps?
GitHub Trending ranks by raw star count which is gameable and lagging. Radar ranks by 24h velocity across stars, forks, contributors, and downstream mentions, and indexes papers, models, MCP servers, and community signal alongside repos. The point is the cross-source view, not the source itself.
> Why pay when AI newsletters are free?
Newsletters are curated by one person's taste at one moment a day. Radar runs continuously, ranks quantitatively, and gives you the archive and search to go back. Free tier is real, not a trap. Pro just removes friction for people who depend on this every morning.
> Who is behind this?
I'm Komal, an AI engineer based in Hyderabad. I built this because I was opening 15 tabs every morning and still missing the things that mattered. Radar is the tool I always wanted. If you want the longer version, my work is at komalvardhan.com.
> When does it launch?
Q3 2026. I'm building in public. Waitlist signups get early access in order. Pro and Pro+ waitlists open before the public tier.
> Can I sponsor the brief?
Eventually, yes. One sponsor slot per day on the free tier, never on Pro. Email komalsrinivasan.l@gmail.com if you want to be on the launch list.
> How is this different from your other products?
Loop is for solo founders to track work. Memora is a private iPhone journal. Radar is the only one of mine built for a paying SaaS audience from day 1. It's the AI intelligence brief I want to charge for.
